About us

Catherine graduated from Winchester School of Art, with a degree in Textile Design in 2003. Having produced Commissions for Nicole Farhi following her degree Catherine moved to Italy where she worked as a textile designer producing clothing and accessory designs for clients from Prada and Chanel to Hugo Boss and Salvatore Ferragammo. During her time in Italy Catherine began designing and making Handmade greetings cards, inspired by the products she found in the boutiques around Lake Como.
On her return to England she began selling her greetings card collections in small boutiques in Princes Risborough, Marlow and Beaconsfield. This new outlet for her talents led on to a number of commissions to produce wedding invitations and other stationery and accessories.

With the advent of her own engagement followed by her wedding in July 2007 Catherine began to dedicate more of her time to the production of bespoke handmade stationery and accessories setting up her business 'Catherine Henshaw, Bespoke Wedding Design' shortly after.

With first hand experience she knows exactly what is required to devise the perfect wedding.
Over the past year the company has grown with a number of new commissions largely based on word of mouth.

Catherine is very excited about her venture with The Wedding Centre in Marlow and is very much looking forward to the new business it may bring.

Location

We are based just outside Reading,                                                                                     Berkshire, and service the surrounding                                                                                             areas into Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire,                                                                                Surrey and Hampshire.
